FABIZ Students’ Scientific Session, 1-2 April 2026

A scientific session for students to develop their research abilities

Students’ Scientific Session provides:

  • evaluation of the participants’ skills from the perspectives of fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary research;
  • chance to acquire integrative competences throughout the exposure of communicating and defending in a competitive context;
  • accustom with drafting a scientific paper based on academic requirements, while presenting freely new research results, supported by two additional trainings before the event, by a professional;
  • opportunity to choose from three languages: papers can be written in English, French or German;
  • collaboration with professors and business representatives in order to gain knowledge, to collect and interpret insightful data;
  • take the extracurricular activities and teamwork to a new level; 
  • a dynamic environment to debate ideas and arguments within scientific arbitration provided by professors and business representatives;
  • priority choice of scientific coordinator for bachelor’s and master’s thesis guidance
  • certificate of participation to enhance chances for scholarships, camps and other extracurricular and scientific activities
  • opportunity to win one of the prizes for the best scientific papers and publishing them

Important notes:

The available slot is still 7 minutes per presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A, yet in accordance with small possible changes in schedule, please arrive approximately 30 minutes before you’re presenting, except for the first ones (in their case 15 minutes).

The awarding ceremonies will take place right after each session, so stay by, or inform me if you cannot real-time tomorrow. In case you won any place, mentions also, do not leave before signing some official documents, otherwise you may not receive your prizes.
