Spend a week at the Faculty of Business Administration in Foreign Languages (FABIZ), part of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). Join bachelor classes, meet students from different countries and put your ideas into practice through a Doing Business in Romania project.

International Student Week combines a week of learning in Bucharest with exposure to a top business school. It is designed for bachelor students looking for a short international study experience through Erasmus+ Traineeship.

Learn alongside FABIZ students

During your stay, you will attend selected bachelor classes alongside FABIZ students and explore business topics in an international learning environment. You will take part in discussions, exchange perspectives and connect what you learn in the classroom with the Romanian business context.

The programme brings together academic study and practical teamwork. You will develop your understanding of a new market, strengthen your communication skills and gain experience presenting ideas in an international team.

Who can join?

The programme welcomes bachelor students in business administration and related fields from eligible partner universities. You should be comfortable following classes, contributing to group discussions and presenting your work in English. The required language level is B2.

Before applying, speak to your home university’s Erasmus or international office to check your eligibility for short-term blended study mobility.

Erasmus funding

Join our International Students Week through an Erasmus+ traineeship. You may be eligible for support towards your travel and living expenses. Contact your home university’s Erasmus office to confirm whether your participation qualifies and ask about funding availability, the application process and any additional inclusion support.

Your week in Bucharest

  • You will attend 6 classes during the week, with time between academic activities to get to know fellow international students and explore Bucharest.
  • Before your visit, you will join the compulsory online component to meet other participants and prepare for the week. These activities form part of the programme and contribute to its learning outcomes.
  • Alongside your classes, you will enjoy a social and cultural programme organised by FABIZ students. No project presentation or final presentation is required. The detailed timetable will outline your classes and the social and cultural activities planned for your stay.

How to apply?

  • Check with your home university. Discuss the programme, Erasmus eligibility, funding and credit recognition with your Erasmus or international office.

  • Arrange your nomination. Ask whether your home university needs to nominate you.

  • Receive your decision. We will inform you of the outcome with one month before the event starts Places are subject to availability.

  • Select your disciplines that you will attend in that week. You will receive a Google Form to make the selection.

  • Prepare for your visit. After acceptance, finalise your Learning Agreement and funding arrangements, complete the online preparation and follow the arrival instructions. Wait for confirmation of your place and programme dates before making non-refundable travel bookings.
